This section provides information and links to Fife Council’s policies on recruitment and processes for managing staffing changes.
It covers all stages of the recruitment process from vacancy management through to the offer of employment. This also incorporates information about the current Resourcing Restrictions.
All recruitment is now centrally managed by the HR Direct Recruitment Team from advert to offer stage. The recruitment process map (this can only be accessed internally) has been updated to incorporate the centralised HR Direct Recruitment Team.
The current process for checking criminal convictions and PVG scheme membership is covered along with information on equality of opportunity and relevant employment legislation.
This information also details the procedures in place in respect of redeployment and establishment change processes.
