Getting your myfife card during the postal strike

Archived news: published on Tuesday 20 Oct 2009 by Fife Council

Fife residents expecting to receive a new or replacement myfife card this week or early next week can collect their card from their nearest Local Services Centres to minimise any delays to delivery caused if the planned postal strike on October 22 and 23 goes ahead.
Customers are required to call 08451 550000 on Tuesday 27th or Wednesday 28th October to check if their card is ready before visiting their Local Services Centre. Cards will only be available to collect on those days. Any cards not collected will be posted to the cardholder’s home address.
This will mainly affect customers who registered for a new card 2 or more weeks ago or requested a replacement card last week.
Cards ready after 27th October will be posted as usual.
Cards for school pupils and Fife Council employees will be delivered to schools and other council buildings via internal mail.
Fife Council apologises to its customers for any inconvenience caused.
