Purpose of consultation

 

Fife Housing Partnership is keen to hear views, comments and suggestions on the draft Local Housing Strategy (LHS) 2010-15 and Action Plan.
Councillor Brian Goodall, Chair of the Fife Housing Partnership said, “The Strategy is an important document which outlines the different ways in which Fife’s future housing needs and aspirations will be addressed.
The LHS summarises the current position and highlights Fife’s continuing support of the Government’sintention to increase the supply of high quality, sustainable housing”.
The formal consultation process builds on the outcomes of 5 workshop events and those interested in taking part should respond before Friday 8 October.

The Local Housing Strategy will be finalised following the consultation and a report will go to the Fife Housing Partnership on 12th November 2010 and Housing & Communities Committee on 16th November 2010 before being submitted to Scottish Government.
